The Maximum Privacy Carrel serves as a powerful tool for students by creating a semi-private atmosphere that is conducive to learning by reducing distractions and allowing students to focus on their own tasks. The Carrel has a 3/4" thick solid core construction in low glare melamine laminate with PVC edge banding. The side panels of the Carrel extend 6 ½" from the work surface, and feature special fasteners for strong, easy assembly. Keep in mind that Smith Carrel Add-On Units must be attached to Carrel Base Units and will not function alone.
